My Teaching Methodology
-
Learning + Fun:
My goal as your piano teacher is to make lessons fun and interesting, while providing
each student with personalized instruction. Studying the art of piano playing is a
fulfilling, enriching and enjoyable educational experience. It does, however, require
commitment, dedication, disciplined daily practice and support from parents.

Computer Music Theory Lab:
Throughout my years of teaching piano, I have noticed that students often struggle with music
theory, i.e., the mechanics of music. In order to make music theory easier and more
understandable, each student will have the opportunity to utilize a wonderful teaching tool -
The Computer Music Theory Lab. Approximately 5-10 minutes of each lesson will be spent at the
Theory Lab, which consists of games, puzzles, and drills that teach music theory. It's Also FUN!
